Bio:Henry originally formed the gothic metal band, LILITU in 1998 in Atlanta GA. The band gained a cult following opening for & touring with such acts as OPETH, LIFE OF AGONY, CRADLE OF FILTH, KATATONIA, CROWBAR, GOD DETHRONED, NIGHTRAGE & NEVERMORE. After 3 full length albums, the band would re-launch under the name BLOOD PROMISE. They released an EP produced by James Murphy (DEATH, OBITUARY, DISINCARNATE) and shot their first video for the single, Suite 218 with David Brodsky (TRIVIUM, GOD FORBID, ALL THAT REMAINS) BP disbanded eventually and Henry would go on to work with JARBOE (ex- SWANS, NEUROSIS) playing shows and recording an album under the name, THE SWEET MEAT LOVE AND HOLY CULT. Henry’s move to Los Angeles brought more work & acclaim as he began working with Rob Caggiano, (ANTHRAX, VOLBEAT) King Ov Hell, (GORGOROTH, GODSEED, ABBATH) & John Tempesta (TESTAMENT, THE CULT, WHITE ZOMBIE) The band completed several demos but unfortunately nothing saw the light of day officially. In 2013 Henry would go on to form SCAR THE MARTYR with band leader Joey Jordison (SLIPKNOT, MURDERDOLLS) and they released their debut album on Roadrunner Records, produced by Ryhs Fulber (FEAR FACTORY, NAILBOMB, PARADISE LOST) In 2015, Henry joined forces with Shawn Drover & Chris Broderick (ex-MEGADETH) as well as Matt Bachand (SHADOWS FALL) to form ACT OF DEFIANCE. They released their debut album through Metal Blade Records, produced by Chris ‘Zeuss’ Harris (ROB ZOMBIE, HATEBREED, QUEENSRYCHE) Henry was also the lead vocalist for the Los Angeles metal band, THROWN INTO EXILE. They released their debut full length album Oct. 21, produced by Jake Pitts of BLACK VEIL BRIDES. The album also features a guest appearance from Bjorn Strid of SOILWORK.
