Bio: | Chris Williams is the drummer Irish thrash metal band Gama Bomb and UK thrash band Struck A Nerve. He is available for live and studio sessions for various rock and metal genres. Known throughout the UK Metal scene for his powerful, solid, and dynamic drumming, along with his fast double bass playing, Chris has a growing reputation outside of his UK base. He has performed at major European festivals such as Hellfest and Motorcultor, alongside performing with international acts such as Spanish thrash band Crisix, and was shortlisted to play for thrash legends Testament. Chris has toured extensively throughout Europe, and has also played in Tokyo, Japan with Gama Bomb, with a return currently being booked as part of a South East Asia & Australia Tour in '25. Chris' work can be heard on the Shrapnel releases 'Decade of Decimation' (EP, 2019), 'Palace For The Insane' (Album, 2020), and 'In Gravity' (Album, 2024). He recently made his Gama Bomb recording debut, performing on their cover of The Pogues' classic 'If I Should Fall From Grace With God' and is starting to write their 9th album with them. His playing can also be heard on the debut singles by Struck A Nerve 'Nocturnal Terror' and 'Inside The Torture Fortress', with the band's debut album to be released in 2025. He has worked with numerous world-renowned producers such as Russ Russell (Napalm Death, Evile, At The Gates), Scott Atkins (Cradle of Filth, Vader, Stampin' Ground), Samuel Turbitt (Scarecrow, Unfathomable Ruination), and most recently Jens Bogren (Amon Amarth, Devin Townsend, Soilwork, Sepultura).
