Bio:Terhi Ylimäinen is a portrait photographer and an artist operating world wide, based in Helsinki, Finland. She uses both skills at her profession. From the childhood Terhi has grown with arts. She also fell strongly into music at the time. She has made a lifetime career of both of her passions. Terhi has done a Master Of Arts (MoA) degree at Aalto University in Helsinki. Terhi has shot promotional and advertising pictures of metal bands like Children Of Bodom, Amorphis etc. for various purposes in world wide music business. Her works are used by record labels and magazines such as Nuclear Blast, Century Media, Spinefarm, Decibel Magazine, Metal Hammer etc. Terhi also works as a photo journalist shooting for the biggest national daily news paper in Finland. Terhi has also done an impressive career in fine arts. The intensity of her fine arts dramatically executes through large paintings made by using just one black, transparent oil paint on board. Her works have been widely represented in solo and group exhibitions in various galleries and art museums throughout Finland, like KIASMA Museum Of Contemporary Art.
