Bio:Mastering Engineer, chief engineer and owner of On Air Mastering for 9 years, Julian started in the music business in 1998 doing live sound and recording in Bogotá, Colombia working with artists like Inquisition, Aterciopelados, Underthreat, Shakira and Juanes doing FOH and monitors/Stage manager. In 2001 a move to NYC was possible and started work at a small boutique studio in midtown, where Grandmaster Flash was introduced and started a relationship of 7 years as his recording/ mixing engineer. Later on, sound at Galapagos Art Space opened the scope of artists to work for, making it possible to make the decision to open OAM. Work for Intronaut, Dälek, Spylacopa, A Storm Of Light, Diva Gash and many others have made possible the main sustenance of OAM. Now OAM is located in Portland, OR and starting to work with the local music scene, which is vast. Robots of the ancient world, Something with teeth, Kulululu, Motorcoat are just some of the local names OAM is working with right now and looking forward to the future.
