Bio:Alex Bent was born in Oakland, California in January of 1993. Coming from humble beginnings and following generations of family musicians, Alex started playing the drums at the age of 11 years old. As he grew and embraced his passion, he began competing in drum competitions and by the age of 17, he made it to the Guitar Center Drum Off Regional Finals in Los Angeles, CA. Alex's passion for music is not limited to metal, but it extends to many other styles of percussion including jazz, gospel, latin, polynesian, and more. By age 18, Alex started touring with underground death metal titans ARKAIK and embarked on a tour supporting Cannibal Corpse for their 2012 Torture album release tour. Since the end of the Torture tour, Alex has stayed busy by consistently playing on the road, teaching lessons, and writing and recording albums. Now at the age of 23 years old, Alex has been fortunate to play for many acts including Testament, Battlecross, Decrepit Birth, Angel Vivaldi, Gus G., and more.
