Bio: | In 1969 AL formed Judas Priest, they went through various line ups with AL recruiting K.K Downing and Ian Hill in their ranks in 1970. Al left them in '73 and was replaced by Rob Halford..before leaving them Al had written some of their biggest songs including Victim of Changes.. He then turned his attention to writing and also recorded 5 solo albums before forming heavy metal band Holy Rage who toured the globe over the next 5 years and recorded just the one self titled album..Next he teamed up with guitarist Paul May in the Atkins/May/Project recording 3 more albums . ...His latest solo album ''Reloaded'' consists of 10 of his favorite songs that he has written or co wrote over the 4 decades and he has re recorded them all with special guests that include Ian Hill (Judas Priest), Ralf Scheepers (Primal Fear),Roy Z Ramires (Halford /Dickinson),Stu Marshall(Death Dealer),John McCoy (Gillan) and Paul May to name a few...... |
